Holiday Store - This three day shopping extravaganza gives the students a chance to purchase gifts during the Holiday season.

Spirit Store - Held throughout the year, students can shop for school spirit items and fun novelty items.  This is a great lesson in making choices to fit their budget as well as counting money.

Carnival - Our annual family carnival is our most popular event of the year.  Join us for food, fun games, exciting rides and inflatables. There is something for every age!

Beautification - Do you have a green thumb? Do you like to decorate? This is a perfect fit for you.  Help us keep everything from the plants to our hallways in perfect condition.

Fifth Grade Party - The 5th graders will celebrate their Elementary graduation with a fun party with all their classmates.  The party is held on campus the last week of school.

Thankful and Friendship Parties - These two parent led parties are held during the school day. A fun way for our students to celebrate friendship and play games and laugh with their classmates.  The parties last about 45 minutes.

Watch DOGS - Calling all Dads! WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

Fall Fundraiser - Each year the PTA members will vote on a fundraiser to take place in the Fall of each school year.  This raises money for student programs as well as other designated items.  In the past we have purchased the school marquee, iPads and Chrome books for the classrooms, playground equipment, and new flexible seating for our Hayes library.

Spirit Wear: PTA promotes school spirit by designing, selling, and delivering official Hayes Elementary spirit merchandise (like t-shirts and yard signs) throughout the year. Go Hawks!

Council Delegate: The PTA Council Delegate attends district-wide PTA Council of Delegate Meetings on behalf of Hayes Elementary School.  The Council Delegate also serves as the school's liaison to the greater Council should the need arise.  Delegate meetings are scheduled in the evenings, making this role a great opportunity for parents with limited daytime availability.

Sister Schools- Our Sister Schools program is an opportunity to create a partnership between two Katy ISD campuses that share common values and goals.

A Sister Schools partnership encourages friendship, understanding, and cooperation between students, parents, and teachers.  The partnership or "sisterhood" goal is to share campus strengths with each other whether it be resources, ideas or anything else that makes them great individually and even greater collectively.
